# Administrative Database Banners

You can display informational text to users with the [Administrative Database Banner exclusive permission](/v1/docs/exclusive-permissions#administrative-database-banner) across all Slate pages in production, [test](/v1/docs/test-environments), and [Time Warp](/v1/docs/time-warp-environments) environments.

> [!NOTE]
> 💡 This banner can help users who have access to multiple Slate databases distinguish between them.

## Editing the Configuration Key

To add the administrative banner to your database:

1. Go to **Database** → **Configuration Keys**.
2. Select **Banner for Administrative Pages.**
3. Enter text to appear at the top of all Slate pages to users with the Administrative Database Banner exclusive permission.
