Conversation history can help you identify common questions, refine bot instructions, and update knowledge sources when users are not getting the help they need. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/cd8ea7a6-07f3-4846-a554-627ac016d3e3/Images/Documentation/AI chat bot conversation history.png) ## Reviewing recent conversations 1. Go to **Database** → **Bots**. 2. Select the AI chat bot that you want to review. 3. From the **Recent Conversations** list, select a conversation. Review the conversation list for timestamp, associated record (if one exists), method (web or SMS), and referring URL, if applicable. ## Examples Use repeated questions, unclear answers, or missing information to update the bot instructions or related knowledge sources. **Admissions 🪪** Review bot conversations before application deadlines to determine whether prospective students are asking about portfolio requirements.
