Age Exports

Overview

Age is a standard export available for person records. Slate offers two age exports, which calculate age differently:

• Current Age Based on Birthdate

• Age (as of date)

Current Age Based on Birthdate

Current Age Based on Birthdate exports a person's age at the time you run the query. Use this export when a report needs the person's current age.

Age (as of date)

Age (as of date) exports what a person's age is, was, or will be on a specified date. Use this export when a report needs the person's age on a fixed date, such as the first day of a term.

In the export settings, enter the reference date in Date. For example, a person with a birthdate of June 19, 1992 has these results:

• With Date set to June 18, 2025, the export returns 32.

• With Date set to June 19, 2025, the export returns 33.
