# Confirming Decisions (Legacy)

Use the **Release Decisions** tool to confirm provisionally assigned decisions. Select **Awaiting Confirmation** view and select the Decision Groups needing confirmation:

- **Decision Groups**: Select the Decision Group or Groups for which decisions will be confirmed.
- **Display**: Select **Display** to view all of the applicants within a Decision Group. Use the check boxes to select the decisions to confirm. Select individuals or confirm decisions in batch by group.
- Confirm**:** Select **Confirm** to confirm the provisional decisions for the selected records and move them into the **Awaiting Assignment** view. (If the decision code does not have a letter template associated, the record will move to the **Awaiting Release** view.)
