# Creating a Start.edu Account

You can search for colleges Start.edu without making an account.

If you want to create lists of schools you’re interested in, or if you want to see your counselor information, create an account:

1. Go to [https://start.edu/connect/login.](https://start.edu/connect/login.)
2. Select **Create Account.**

3. Enter your:
  - name
  - date of birth
  - email address
  - mobile phone
  - mailing address
  - high school
4. If you don’t see your high school listed, let us know us at [info@slate.org](mailto:info@slate.org). We’ll add your school to our database as soon as we’re able.
5. Indicate when you plan to start college and your **college major(s) interest**.

6. Click **Submit**and start using your Start.edu account!
