Custom badge sizes and formats expand badge printing beyond the default badge stock. When configuring a badge, you can either select one of the predefined sizes and formats, or you can enter custom badge dimensions. This makes it possible to design badges for different label stock, paper sizes, and compatible printers.

Custom badge sizes and formats lets you:
Print smaller adhesive badges for an open house while keeping the registrant name, QR code, and program interest visible.
Use a custom badge format for orientation, advising fairs, or resource events where attendees need visible role or cohort information.
Create donor event badges sized for premium badge stock, including table assignment, giving society, or reunion year merge fields.
Setting a custom badge size
Open the event or event template that will use the badge.
Select Edit Form.
Select Edit Mobile Pass.
Select the Badge tab.
Select one of the predefined badge sizes and formats, or select Custom and enter a custom width and height.
Use the guide marks in the badge preview to align text, merge fields, QR codes, and design elements within the selected dimensions.
Select Save.

Connect the barcode scanner and printer to the Windows device.
Launch the scanner from the event management page.
Select the printer in the Slate Scan App.
Run a test scan and print before the event.
Custom badge sizes can be used with printers that have compatible Windows drivers. Test the badge design, paper stock, and printer settings before using the setup at a live check-in desk.
