# Custom Delivery Windows for Scheduled Exports

Custom delivery windows for [scheduled exports](/v1/docs/scheduling-exports) let you define a more precise delivery window for recurring query exports. Use delivery windows to align file delivery with partner pickup times, reporting deadlines, and operational expectations.

## Configuring a delivery window

1. Go to **Queries / Reports**.
2. Select an existing data export query, or [create a new one](/v1/docs/building-data-export-query).
3. Select **Edit Query**.
4. Select **Schedule Export**.
5. Configure the export destination, path, format, and notification settings as needed.
6. Next to **Requested Window**, select **Insert Window.**
7. In the **time** field, enter a requested delivery window. You can also select a **time zone** from among the [database time zone](/v1/docs/configuration-keys#database-time-zone) (if one is set), your system time, or UTC.

8. Create as many windows as required.
9. Select the weekdays when the export should run.
10. Select **Save.**
