Fields and prompts can be created and directly associated with individual gifts.

By setting the scope of a custom field to Gift, institutions can store custom information about a gift. The Giving Tabs Insert list defines the visibility of the field for gifts, pledges, or planned gifts. To select where to display the custom gift-scoped field, select Gift, Pledge, or Planned Gift from the Gift Tabs Insert option that appears after setting the Scope to Gift.

A custom gift-scoped field can appear on a single tab, two tabs, or all three. If no tab option is selected, the field will appear in all three gift categories.
