# Custom Views in the Release Decision Tool

As with [profile tabs](/v1/docs/custom-views-personal-shared), you can set user-specific **Views**for each stage of the Release Decisions process.

To get started, navigate to the Release Decisions tool:

1. Select **Database** on the top navigation bar.
2. Select **Release Decisions**, which brings you to the Overview stage.
3. Select from the right-hand navigation the stage you'd like to create a custom view for. For example, *Confirm*.

Personal views are **user-specific**. Other Slate users in your institution will not be able to see personal views you created. Views are also **stage-specific**: they do not persist between stages of the Release Decisions tool.

Learn more about custom views, including how to adjust column widths, filter and more, by reading the [Custom Views for Profile Tabs](/v1/docs/custom-views-personal-shared) article.

## Create a Customized View

To create a customized view in the Release Decisions tool:

1. Select the **Customize View**icon (the abacus) under the Search bar. The Customize View dialog box appears.
