By default, Slate allows for giving made 'In Honor of' or 'In Memory of' of individuals. Users can search for a specific record for which to link the tribute - or enter a name not linked to a record within the database.

Should an occasion be made and linked to an existing record, the tribute would display in the 'Honored By' section of the Giving tab on the linked record.

An institution can add and modify which occasions are available by adjusting the standard giving prompts.
