• Change up your interface theme with a click.

• Interface themes include Legacy and Modern user interfaces.

Change your theme

To change your interface theme:

1. Hover over the User Icon at the top right of any page.

   

2. Select Set Theme.

3. Select one of the following options:

   • Legacy UI / Standard

   • Legacy UI / Dark Mode

   • Modern UI / Standard

   • Modern UI / Dark Mode

   • Modern UI / Twilight

   • Modern UI / Standard High Contrast

   • Modern UI / Twilight High Contrast

4. Select Save.

Modern UI themes

The Dashboard

• Modern UI themes introduce the Dashboard.

• The Dashboard contains new features, like User Dashboards, and relocates existing ones, like Projects & Tasks.

• Access the Dashboard by selecting the Toggle Dashboard button at the top right of any page.

• Click and drag the left handle to expand or shrink the dashboard.

• The dashboard and the width you choose for it persist across any Slate page.

Dashboard menu

At the top of the Dashboard is the Dashboard menu.

Tabs in the Dashboard menu include:

Dashboard

• The default tab.

• Comes standard with links to Home Slate and to Slate resources.

• Can be customized with User Dashboards.

Projects & Tasks

• You’ll find your tasks, related tasks, and the Create Task form in this tab.

• You can also access this search bar in Database > Discover Slate.

Modern themes in action

Modern UI themes include a new color scheme, Twilight.

They also provide high-contrast options for Standard and Twilight color schemes.

Legacy UI themes

Most Slate users are likely familiar with the Legacy UI.

You can stick with the old standby if you’d like—you can also switch it to Dark Mode.
