You will not be able to change your school counselor information on the left hand side. In the invitation email, select the **Register for an Account** link. You’re directed to the Start.edu account creation page. 2. Complete the account creation form. 4. Copy the PIN from the email and enter it in the Temporary PIN field. 6. Enter your birthdate, then select **Login.** You are directed to the Start.edu homepage. 7. In the **Your Independent Counselors** section, you’ll see a notice that you have a counselor invitation awaiting approval. You can type a specific school name in the search bar, or you can search more generally by using filters on the right-hand side. On a school’s profile, you can see the type of school, the size, and general information about its programs and enrollment. The school is added to your list. As you add more and more colleges to **Your List**, this list will dynamically generate other colleges for you to explore. This is one of the great features of [Start.edu](/docs/start.edu): it’s not only a search engine, but also a powerful recommendation tool that lets you discover schools you may not have thought of before. Similarly, if you remove schools from your list, the list on the right-hand side will also update. ## Your Profile The information you provide here will be shared with colleges that you choose to follow and with no other organizations.
