# Pop a Reader Tab Group or Current Reader Tab into a New Browser Tab

When reviewing an record in the Reader, you can open either the entire **Reader Tab Group** (all tabs in the left-side navigation) or just the currently selected **Reader Tab** in a new browser tab.

This makes it easy to view multiple components of an record at the same time — ideal for split-screen comparisons or reviewing materials side-by-side.

### To pop out a Reader Tab Group or a single Reader Tab:

1. Select **Reader** from the top navigation bar.
2. Open the desired application.
3. Click the three-bar menu in the upper-right corner of the Reader.
4. Choose one of the following options:

- **Pop Record** – Opens the entire Reader Tab Group in a new browser tab.
- **Pop Tab** – Opens only the currently viewed Reader Tab in a new browser tab.
- **Share** – Opens the Share tab to begin a Share session.
- **Exit Reader** – Returns to the Slate database homepage.

You can also locate specific records using the **Quick Search** box to the left of the menu.
