To restrict access and edit permissions to a portal or Express Portal to only specific users, to user with a given permission, or to users with a given role:
Go to Database → Portals.
Select a portal, or create a new one.
Select Edit Permissions.
Select Add Grantee.
Configure the following settings:
Active: Active
Type: Choose between User, Role, and Permission
User: Enter a user’s name that should be granted access
Role: Select a role from the list that should be granted access
Permission: Select a permission from the list that should be granted access
Permissions: To allow write, rather than just read access, select Edit Portal
Select Save.
Portals are only accessible in Database → Portals with the Portal Editor permission. Users to whom you’ve granted access to a given portal with Edit Portal require a direct editor link—that is, the link to the portal’s overview page. To open the portal itself, use the link shown in the portal's URL field. The portal's configured security requirements still apply.
