You might do this for quality assurance purposes in a report or dashboard, or as a one-off query. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/cd8ea7a6-07f3-4846-a554-627ac016d3e3/Images/Documentation/Event timezone query.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-27T02%3A32%3A16Z&se=2026-10-27T03%3A32%3A16Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=McskN6ROz%2BDle%2FOAI9mtR0D0f0VJDXaYGonrSY3N%2FV8%3D) ## Creating the query 1. Go to **Queries / Reports**. 2. Select **New Query**. 3. Configure the following settings: - **Name:** Enter a name, like `Event time zone validation`. - **Folder:** Select the folder where the query should be saved. - **Type:** Configurable Joins - **Base:** Form 4. Select **Save**. ## Adding a formula subquery filter 1. Select **Subquery Filter.** 2. Configure the following settings: - **Name:** Enter a descriptive name for the subquery filter. For example, if you’re trying to confirm whether the event is not configured in Eastern Time, you could name it `Time Zone Not Eastern`. - **Type:** Dependent subquery - **Aggregate:** Formula - **Exports:** Before you configure the formula, select **Export → Form Timezone → Continue** to make this export available to the formula. - **Formula:** Enter a formula that calculates whether the *Timezone* export is configured the way you expect it to be. Time zone values are determined by [Microsoft’s Time Zone Index Values](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/embedded/ms912391(v=winembedded.11)). For example, if you want the formula to return `true` when the event’s time zone is not in Eastern Time, you could enter: ```sql @Form-Timezone != 'Eastern Time' ``` 3. Select **Save.** 📖 [Learn more about the Formula aggregate in subquery filters](/v1/docs/subquery-filters#formula) 📖 [Learn more about time zones in Slate](/v1/docs/utc-timezone-offset) ## Adding exports Add exports that help reviewers identify the event and the time zone for which it was configured, like: - **Form Title** - **Form Start Date/Time** - **Form End Date/Time** - **Form Timezone** - **Form Timezone ID** - **Form Timezone Offset** After adding any required filters and exports, select **Preview Results** to confirm that each person appears with the expected event details and whether the formula evaluates as expected.
