⚠️ This article is about a legacy tool.
The information in this article only applies to the legacy Reader. For information on Dashboards with the modern, Workflow-based Reader, see Dashboards.
Reader Dashboard queries can be created via the Query Builder, and can be configured to view read-only data in the dropdown panel when reading an application.
Creating the Query
Click Queries / Reports in the top navigation bar.
Click New Query.
Enter the following configurations in the popup window:
Name - Name the query Reader Dashboard.
Sharing - Select 'Share query with other users with the query and query base permissions.'
Folder - Select System.
Base - Select the Applications population.
System Key - Select 'Dashboard Reader.'
Select exports for the data to be displayed.
Double-click on each export, and give it a computer-friendly name (i.e. no spaces, lower case)
Configuring the Dashboard
Follow the breadcrumbs within the query just created, and click Edit Dashboard.
Using the WYSIWYG editor, configure the dashboard as desired. Type in the computer-friendly names of the exports as merge fields, using curly braces.
