Most report settings are available when creating a new report or editing an existing report. The Schedule Report settings are only available after the report has been created.
New/Edit Report Settings
These settings can be set upon report creation, or adjusted later.
Setting | Description |

Name | Displays name of report on the list of reports as well as the title of the report when rendered as a PDF. Name can be updated at any time. |
Realm | Adding the report to a Realm will only allow it to be accessed in Slate by users who can access that Realm. |
Folder | Place report a folder and/or subfolder. |
Orientation | Landscape reports render with much wider tables. When exporting to PDF, the report will be 8.5" x 11" in the orientation chosen. |
Colors | All graphs and charts within the report utilize a defined set of 10 colors. These can be customized precisely using either the palette selector or hexadecimal color notation. |
Parameters | Adding parameters to a report allows you to include query string parameters where the values are passed into report filters. |
Schedule Report Settings
These settings are only available after the report has been created. They allow you to automatically email the report on a predetermined schedule.

Email is not a secure method of communication and extra caution should be observed when reporting individually identifiable or otherwise sensitive information.
Setting | Description |
Frequency | Reports can be automatically run on a Weekly or Monthly schedule. |
Recipients | List recipients here with multiple email addresses separated by commas. |
Start Date | The first day the report should be sent. |
End Date | The last day the report should be sent. Leave blank to send the report indefinitely. |
Interval (Weekly) | The number of weeks to wait before sending the report again. |
Weekdays (Weekly) | Determine which days of the week the report should be sent. A minimum of one weekday must be selected. |
Day of Month (Monthly) | The day of the month the report should be sent. |
Delivery Window | Determine which time of the day the report should be sent. A minimum of one delivery window must be selected. |
