Slate AI Dictate adds speech-to-text input to Slate AI conversations. Dictation can help users enter longer prompts more quickly, especially on mobile devices or when typing is inconvenient.

Dictate a prompt
Open a Slate AI conversation, or start a new one.
Select the dictate icon 🎙️ in the prompt input.
If prompted, allow microphone access.
Speak your prompt while the recording indicator is active.
Select the checkmark to transcribe the prompt, or select X to cancel.
Review and edit the transcribed prompt.

Submit the prompt to Slate AI.
