Diane Campbell has been a professional school and college counselor for over 18 years. She is also the current Director of College Counseling at Liberty Common High School in Ft. Collins, CO. She is past Professional Development Chair for RMACAC. She is current Co-Director for KOO (keeping options open) in Colorado, where she provides training in professional development for high school counselors.

Alex Catalan

Seven Hills School | Cincinnati, OH

Alex Catalan is Assistant Director of College Counseling at Seven Hills School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before joining SHS in 2015, he worked in graduate admissions at the University of Pennsylvania and reviewed undergraduate applications to Yale-NUS College. His is career in admissions began at Beloit College, where he currently serves as a Trustee. Alex earned his B.A. from Beloit College and his M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania.

North Oconee High School | Bogart, GA

Christy is a compassionate school counselor who has dedicated her career to nurturing students' academic, emotional, and social growth. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a Master's degree in School Counseling from Columbus State University, and a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She works as a school counselor at North Oconee High School, where she believes that counseling goes beyond academic achievement. Through one-on-one counseling sessions, group workshops, and thoughtful guidance, Christy empowers students to overcome obstacles, develop resilience, and set meaningful goals for their future.

IEC | Denver, CO

Dr. Jill Corbin is an American Institute Certified Educational Planner and started an independent consulting business, The Good Doctor; Prescribing Bright Futures, in 2016 to assist families of diverse learners with the college search process. She serves as co-chair of the NACAC Learning Differences Special Interest Group, and is the Immediate Past President of the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling. She has worked in higher education, secondary education, and independent counseling for 17 years.

Iolani School | Honolulu, HI

Todd has worked as the Director of College Counseling at 'Iolani School in Honolulu since 2003. He is a past-president of Hawai‘i ACAC and an advocate for increased transparency in the college admissions process. He has worked in college admissions at Carleton College and the University of California, Davis. He earned a B.A. from Carleton College and M.Ed from the University of Hawai‘i, Manoa.

After recruiting the first co-educational class at Rosemont College and serving as an Associate Dean of Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania, Lara jumped over to the proverbial other side of the desk at The Episcopal Academy. Besides geeking out over all things college admissions, she loves all things Philly, backpacking through national parks (19 visited so far!), listening to audiobooks on 1.7 speed, and sharing the hilarious antics of her 4 and 1 year old daughters.

McDonogh School | Owings Mills, MD

Kate Jacobson is an Associate Director of College Counseling at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, MD. Before this role, she was an Associate Dean of Admission at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Kate began her career in the admission world as a College Adviser with the College Advising Corp, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting underserved students as they navigate the college process; she herself is a first generation college graduate! Kate loves to read, support all Baltimore sports teams and go for walks on McDonogh's beautiful campus with her fiancé and their English Cream golden retriever puppy, Griffey.

Dana joined the Ranney School College Office in 2019. Prior to this she has spent more than 20 years in college admissions, serving as Director of Admissions at Marymount University and Ursinus College, Associate Director of Admissions at Lafayette College, and in the admissions departments of University of Maryland, Baltimore County and Seton Hall University. She earned her B.A. at Gettysburg College and an M.A. at Seton Hall University.

Saint Joseph Academy | Saint Louis, MO 

Annie McKenzie is the Assistant Director of College Advising at St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to joining the high school side, Annie worked in college admissions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During her time at UMKC, she served as an Assistant Director and assisted in their Slate implementation, territory recruitment, campus visits and events, and new student orientation.

Sandy Spring Friends School | Sandy Spring, MD 

Chris Miller is the director of college counseling at Sandy Spring Friends School in Maryland.  For over twenty years, Chris has delighted in his work as an educator, beginning as a college admission counselor and serving as a college counselor at several institutions in the Greater Washington and Baltimore areas. Chris is an active volunteer in the admissions profession and has held leadership positions for NACAC, Potomac & Chesapeake ACAC, and ACT, and he continues to serve on admission advisory boards for various colleges and universities throughout the United States. A native of Newark, NJ, Chris is a graduate of Oberlin College and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and he is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

University Preparatory Academy | Seattle, WA

Like many admission professionals, Britten got started in this career as a senior in college, when she was a tour guide at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. That turned into a job as an admission counselor shortly after graduation, and she worked in admission for seven years at Puget Sound (back in the day when they read all our applications on paper!) She just completed her my sixteenth year as the Associate Director of College Counseling at University Prep.

Janine Silberberg

John P Stevens High School | Edison, NJ

Janine is the college & career counselor at John P. Stevens High School in Edison, NJ. As a certified school counselor, Ms. Silberberg assists students with understanding the varying possibilities available upon post-secondary completion. She does this through a lens of equity, supporting students from different cultures, backgrounds, and identities. She loves her job and is so grateful to share in the academic, social, and emotional lives of the students she serves. When not walking the halls, you can find Ms. Silberberg on a Peloton bike, singing show tunes with her two sassy daughters, or basking in the sun on a beach.

Judith Stahl

Detroit Country Day School | Beverly Hills, MI

Judith Stahl has been counseling students in the college process for the past 13 years in both public and independent schools. She is a Past President of the Michigan Association of College Admission Counselors (MACAC), has chaired Communications and College Fair Committees, was recognized with a Rising Star Award, and is the current Chair of the Admission Practices Committee. At the national level (NACAC), Judith has served as Chair of the Rising Star Committee as well as on the Affiliate President's Council as part of her Presidential term. She has visited over 135 campuses across the world and has served on multiple college advisory boards.

Randy Stamm

Hackensack High School | Hackensack, NJ 

Randy Stamm is a School Counselor at Hackensack High School in Hackensack NJ and current President of the NJ Association for College Admission Counseling.  He was an appointed member of the On-Ramps to College Working Group within the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education and a member of NACAC's Ad Hoc Committee on Engaging Public School Counselors.  Randy is also a Part Time Lecturer at the Rutgers University School of Social Work and an Adjunct at Bergen Community College.

Abraham Joshua Heschel School | NY, NY

David is beginning his 10th year as a college counselor at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School in New York City. It is a small, Jewish day school on Manhattan's upper west side. Prior to coming to the Heschel School, he spent four years working in the Columbia University Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Prior to his time in admissions, he served as an attorney at a large corporate law firm in New York City.

Sara Urquidez

Yvonne A Ewell Townview Magnet Center | Dallas, TX 

Sara's passion for college access led her to the Academic Success Program (ASP), which works with students, counselors, administrators, and admissions officers to ensure that students from all backgrounds in Dallas-Fort Worth can access a college education. She expanded the ASP network from 3 high schools to 27 public and charter schools throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Houston, and College Station, serving more than 30,000 students each year. She serves on the leadership council for Coalition for College, as well as multiple counselor advisory boards of several highly selective and public institutions. She presents regularly on college admissions and access issues at local, state, and national conferences.

Carly is the Associate Director of College Counseling at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia. I have experience working with Slate.org as both a high school counselor and an admission counselor. In my admission days, I was Associate Director of Admission at Haverford College.

Winchester Thurston School | Pittsburgh, PA

After working on the admission side for 14 years, including co-leading the Slate implementation for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Columbia University, David made the switch to school counseling as Associate Director of College Counseling at George School in Newtown, PA. Since 2018, he has served as the Director of College Counseling in Pittsburgh, PA where they use Slate.org as much as possible for data and decision tracking, and has presented on Slate.org at two Slate Innovation Summits.

Philip is currently Co-Director of College Counseling at Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland. He is the former Associate Director of Admissions & Financial Aid at Muhlenberg College where he was part of the Slate implementation team!

Georgetown Preparatory School | Bethesda, MD

Hannah Wolff is a College Counselor at Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Maryland, and also works as an admission reader for the University of California at Berkeley. She has worked in college counseling for 14 years, including time in Fairfax County Public Schools at the College and Career Specialist at West Springfield High School and Langley High School in Virginia.

Gill Saint Bernard's School | Gladstone, NJ

Amanda is the Associate Director of College Guidance at Gill Saint Bernard's School in NJ. Originally from the Midwest, she is loving theatre and city life as much as she can. A recent transition to the high school side, Amanda has worked worked in higher education and Slate for the last decade or so. She was regionally based for almost 9 years and has a vast knowledge of schools and recruitment in the Northeast.
