# The User Menu

The **user menu**includes a variety of commonly-accessed Slate resources. It****appears on every Slate page with five **dashboard tabs**.

Click and drag the left handle to expand or shrink the dashboard. The dashboard and the width you choose for it persist across any Slate page.

## Featured

At the top of the user menu is the **Featured tab.**This tab comes standard with links to [Resource Center](/v1/docs/resource-center) and to Slate resources.

## Tasks

You’ll find your tasks, related tasks, and the Create Task form in this tab.

## Discovery
