Early Access Features configuration keys are occasionally used when new features are made available within Slate. Rather than being automatically enabled within all Production environments, database managers have the ability to enable these new features at their discretion.
To activate an Early Access Feature, go to Database → Configuration Keys, select one or more features, and select Save.
📝 Wait about 15 minutes for changes to Configuration Keys be reflected in your database.

PayPal/Venmo
PayPal and Venmo can be enabled as acceptable payment methods in the standard Payment widget used in forms. These types of payment methods can be configured to be the only option in a Payment widget, or they can be configured to work along with Slate Payments.
To accept these types of payments, the institution must have an existing PayPal account, or one must be established during the setup process. The PayPal/Venmo capability can be used with or without using the Slate Payments method.

Research
The Research tab enables the storing and management of data from both external and internal sources. This data can be source-specific from a provider (such as rating or score) or it can be more generally applicable information that may be provided from multiple sources (such as a prospect's estimated capacity). Custom research sources can also be created.
Research-scoped materials may be established and associated with individual research items as well. These materials can be uploaded to Slate directly and added to new/existing records, allowing for immediate access to any necessary primary source backup.
In all cases, research data is entirely accessible for querying and reporting.
