Oxford ELLT (English Language Level Test) Integration

The English Language Level Test or Oxford ELLT is an English proficiency test managed by the Oxford International Digital Institute. It uses a twelve-point scale that measures the average of the four individual components: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
The integration between the Oxford ELLT and Slate uses a CSV or JSON file, provided by Oxford, a test type, and a source format, both added in Slate.

CSV File Integration
Institutions can choose to receive scores of Oxford ELLT as a Batch CSV file for upload using a delivered Source Format.
Step 1: Download the CSV File
First, download the CSV results from your Oxford ELLT Partner Portal:
Log into your Oxford ELLT Partner Portal at https://app.oidigitalinstitute.com/app/login
From the Dashboard, click Results.
Configure the Date and Product filters to select the range of results to download.
Click the Download icon at top right.
Select All bookings in CSV format (compatible with Slate CRM).
Select Download.
Step 2: Add the test type and source format
Oxford ELLT scores can be imported into Slate using CSV files uploaded to Slate via a source format.
Add the Oxford ELLT test type
The Oxford ELLT test type is a data object in Slate that stores the score results. To add it to your database:
From the main navigation, select Database.
Under Configurations, select Slate Template Library.
Add the Oxford ELLT test type.
📝 Do not make any changes to the test type.
Add the Oxford ELLT (English Language Level Test) CSV source format
This Source Format imports Oxford ELLT Test Scores downloaded from your ELLT Portal. To add it to your database:
From the main navigation, select Database.
Under Import and Data Processing, select Source Format Library.
Add the Oxford ELLT (English Language Level Test) CSV source format.
Select Edit.
Select the Format Definition tab.
Configure the remap settings for the format definition as needed. Many items have been pre-mapped.
Return to the General tab.
Set Remap Active to Active on the Source Format. The import runs for all files uploaded on or after the Remap As Of Date value.
JSON Web Service Integration
Institutions can elect to integrate Oxford ELLT test scores using a JSON files delivered via Web Service.
Step 1: Add the Oxford ELLT Service Account from the Slate Template Library
From the main navigation, select Database.
Under Configurations, select Slate Template Library.
In the Search Library bar, enter "Oxford ELLT Service Account."
Scroll down to the Users section. To the right of the item Oxford ELLT Service Account, click Add. A popup appears.
Click Add. Do not make changes to this user account.
Note
If you do not see the Oxford ELLT Service Account, click the refresh the Slate Template Library link at the top of the page.
Step 2: Add the test type and source format

From the main navigation, select Database.
Under Configurations, select Slate Template Library.
Add the Oxford ELLT test type.

From the main navigation, select Database.
Under Import and Data Processing, select Source Format Library.

Select Edit.
Select the Format Definition tab.

Step 3: Provide Oxford ELLT with the Web Service URL for your Source Format
After adding your Source Format from the Source Format Library, navigate to the Format.
Click the “Web Services” Link and select the “Certificate Based Authentication” Tab
Copy the URL from the Certificate Based Authentication Tab
Log into your Oxford ELLT Partner Portal at https://app.oidigitalinstitute.com/app/login
Navigate to your profile by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the page.
Select the API Integrations tab
Turn on “Slate” using the toggle switch
Copy your Web Services POST URL into the box provided
Click Update
