# Create Lists in Slate.org

You can create lists of students, applications, and colleges in Slate.org.

## Creating a list and adding students

To create a new list:

1. Go to **Students**, **Applications**, or **Colleges**.
2. Select **New List.**
3. Enter a name.
4. Select **Batch Manage (the gear icon).**
5. Select the items you want to add to the list.
6. Select **Apply Actions.**
7. Configure the following settings:
  - **Action:** Add to List
  - **List:** Select the list you created earlier

8. Select **Submit.**

> 💡 Enter Batch Mode and press `ctrl` or `cmd` to select any students/apps/colleges you want to highlight.

## Removing items from a list

To remove a student from a list:

1. Select a list.
2. Select **Batch Manage (the gear icon)**.
3. Select items to remove from the list.
4. Select **Apply Action.**
5. **Configure the following settings:**
  - **Action:** Remove from list
  - **List:** Select the list from which the items should be removed.

6. Select **Submit.**

## Delete a list

To delete a list:

1. Select a list.
2. Select **Edit List.**
3. Select **Delete.**
