Custom delivery windows for scheduled exports let you define a more precise delivery window for recurring query exports. Use delivery windows to align file delivery with partner pickup times, reporting deadlines, and operational expectations.
Configuring a delivery window
Go to Queries / Reports.
Select an existing data export query, or create a new one.
Select Edit Query.
Select Schedule Export.
Configure the export destination, path, format, and notification settings as needed.
Next to Requested Window, select Insert Window.
In the time field, enter a requested delivery window. You can also select a time zone from among the database time zone (if one is set), your system time, or UTC.
Create as many windows as required.
Select the weekdays when the export should run.
Select Save.
Monitor generated, queued, and delivered export activity from the Job Activity Monitor.
Examples
Schedule an admitted student export to arrive before a daily SIS pickup window.
Deliver an at-risk student file before morning advising outreach begins.
Deliver a campaign response file before a vendor starts daily calling or email work.
