Now that you’ve assembled your team, you can get Slate Certified with the self-paced Fundamentals of Admission and Enrollment course in Learning Lab.
Fundamentals of Admission and Enrollment
The Fundamentals of Admission and Enrollment course in Learning Lab gives you an overview of the Slate tools you and your admissions team will use day-to-day.
At the end of the course, you’ll have a solid grasp of the foundations of Slate database administration. You’ll also have a Slate Certified credential to show off.
Who gets access?
Your Slate license includes three waivers for Slate Admins to take this course at no cost, and as many additional users as you’d like can get access for a per-user fee.
You and your Admins can self-register for Fundamentals in Learning Lab.
Training regimen
Training together fosters teamwork and provides a great opportunity to share ideas about the implementation.
Get the most out of Fundamentals by meeting at least twice during your training and again at course completion.
Provisioning additional user accounts
If your other Admins don’t yet have access to your database, you must provision user accounts for them.
To provision additional user accounts, follow the steps in User Accounts → Adding a User for each user.
📝 NoteIf you want other people beside your Slate Admins to get Slate Certified, you’ll need to purchase additional Slate Certified registrations beyond the three waivers provided for your Admins.
