The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a globally recognized, AI-scored assessment suite designed to measure real-world language proficiency for higher education, professional registration, and international migration. It is accepted by the governments of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK for work and migration visas, and is recognized by over 4,000 institutions worldwide, including hundreds of US universities.

Test takers select a format based on their specific goals. PTE Academic is a comprehensive four-skill test for global study, professional registration, and visa applications to Australia and New Zealand. PTE Express is a focused, two-skill online assessment accepted specifically by US colleges and universities.

Results are typically delivered within two days and can be verified through the Pearson Score Report Website or direct system integrations.

You can configure Slate to receive Person PTE tests.
