Copy any Suitcaseable object and paste it elsewhere, in any database.

• ↔️ Paste between databases: You can copy an object in one database (your production environment, say) and paste it in another (your test environment).

• 🌱 Paste in new contexts: You can copy objects and paste them into acceptable parent objects. For example, pasting a query in a Deliver mailing will import it as a new recipient list.

Copying

Go to anything in Slate that can be Suitcased, like:

• Application Configurations

• Application Logic

• Bots

• Components

• Deliver Mailings

• Files

• Forms, including:

  • Form Communications

  • Form Logic

  • Form Rules

• Message Mailings

• Message Templates

• Portals

• Queries

• Reports

• Rules

• Slate Scholar Classroom Courses

• Source Formats

• Trips

Press ctrl + c or cmd + c. The object is copied to your clipboard.

Pasting

Press ctrl + v or cmd + v. An Import Suitcase popup appears.

Configure the import as needed, then select Import. You are directed to the object’s configuration page.
