Here’s the full list of Slate Summit 2026 features, in the order they were announced:
Homepage builder
A reimagined Slate home page puts you in control.

Integrated configuration tools
Integrated configuration tools bring related setup links into the Slate tool where you are already working. Select the configuration icon in supported areas, such as Deliver, to open focused configuration pages without starting from the full Database page.

📖 Integrated configuration tools
Express query tools
Express query tools add faster controls for managing exports, filters, and joins in embedded query builder contexts. Rename exports or temporarily activate and deactivate query parts without rebuilding the query.
Universal maximized modals
Universal maximized modals give administrative windows more room when a task involves dense configuration, long lists, large editing areas, or side-by-side information. The expanded workspace reduces scrolling and visual crowding while the modal remains in context.
Minimized modals
Minimized modals let users keep an active modal open while they view or scroll the page behind it. This is useful when a user needs record context or page details before returning to the modal task.

Query library inheritance
Lock down individual query parts in your Query Library queries.
Joinable Bridge
Joinable Bridge helps modernize eligible legacy queries in place by adding Configurable Joins-style query parts to legacy query bases. Add modern exports, filters, joins, and subqueries without rebuilding established legacy queries first.

📖 Legacy base migration to Configurable Joins with Joinable Bridge
Matching gifts
Identify potential matching gifts, track match status, and record fulfilled company payments. This process uses shared company matching gift policy data so institutions can benefit from policy information maintained across Slate.
DAFpay payment processor in payment widgets
Create a deposit account with the new DAFpay provider type, then add DAFpay as a payment processor on a gift form’s payment widget. When a donor selects a payment method for their gift, they’ll see DAFpay as an option. When they select it, they’ll seamlessly enter the DAFpay payment processing experience.

Workflow Editor reboot
With fewer clicks, the workflows editor has a newly streamlined navigation.
Form response workflows
Form response workflows let submitted form responses enter Reader as individual workflow items, so repeated requests tied to the same record can be reviewed independently. This keeps review history attached to the submitted response that prompted it.

Legacy base migration to workflows
Legacy Reader Base Migration to Workflows moves reader-enabled legacy bases into the modern Workflows tool while preserving reader process data during the transition. The migration is primarily structural, representing each legacy Reader base as a workflow that uses the original base name.
📖 Legacy base migration to workflows
External access auditing
From a single location, monitor all instances of access to your Slate database from external sources, including scheduled exports.
Preferred Partner login
A new user type, User (Preferred Partner), lets you provision dedicated accounts for Preferred Partners.
Slate.org contact data sync
Import contacts from Slate.org into your database to automate the process of keeping your Org Contacts up to date.
📖 The Organization Contacts dataset
Form AI scanner
On Slate Mobile, use your phone camera to convert real-world text into a form response.
Slate AI conversations
Start separate conversations and return to prior Slate AI work from conversation history. Keeping topics in separate conversations helps prompts, responses, and follow-up questions stay organized.
Slate AI conversation sync
Conversations with Slate AI for your user account now persist across tabs and windows.
Slate AI image support
Paste screenshots and other images into Slate AI conversations for visual context. Slate AI can use the image and typed prompt together to understand visible pages, fields, layouts, or error messages.

Slate AI mobile
Slate AI Mobile brings Slate AI access into the mobile Slate experience. Open Slate AI from a phone or tablet to ask questions, draft content, summarize context, and continue working away from a desktop.

Slate AI dictate
Slate AI Dictate adds speech-to-text input to Slate AI conversations. Speak a prompt, review the transcription, and edit it before sending.

Slate AI calendar & email integration
Slate AI can now reference connected Google or Microsoft calendar and inbox context when a prompt asks about messages, meetings, or scheduling details. After authorization, ask Slate AI to summarize recent email, find relevant calendar entries, or turn recent messages into follow-up work.

📖 Slate AI calendar & email integration
Slate AI dynamic queries
Ask Slate AI to work with results after a query run. Sort, filter, reshape, summarize, or prepare the current result set without rebuilding the underlying query.

AI Data Explorer
Slate AI Data Explorer adds an AI-powered explorer part to Data Explorer reports. After report data is defined, prompt Slate AI to create charts, tables, summaries, and interactive slicers that can be saved with the report.

Inbox AI snippets
Inbox AI snippets insert AI-personalized email or SMS text into Inbox messages from reusable snippets. A snippet can use a prompt, merge fields, and selected knowledge sources to generate text before it is inserted into the reply.

Custom Slate Voicemail greetings
Custom Slate Voicemail greetings let each Slate Voice mailbox use a recorded message before Slate records a caller's voicemail. After the greeting is saved, voicemails continue through the usual Slate Voice routing for review.

📖 Custom Slate Voicemail greetings
AI voice styling
AI voice styling gives Deliver Voice AI mailings more control over the generated voice message. Choose a voice, guide the speaking style, adjust speech rate, and preview the result before saving.

Campaigns reboot
As part of a comprehensive reboot of Deliver Campaigns, you can now:
Create a multimodal campaign with the new Dynamic campaign type directly from Deliver → Campaigns
Set a start and end date
Edit the targeted population, including pulling exports at the population level
Create campaign exit objectives based on filter criteria
Drag and drop mailings to change their sequence order
Reference all your population-level exports in the mailing
Set a delivery window—or a specific delivery time—for individual mailings
Give mailings a Hold status, in which they’re scheduled, but do not send
Add conditions for delivery to each mailing
Preview a record’s entrance criteria and exit objectives, as well as which mailings they’d receive (and when) given each mailing’s send conditions
Dynamic UTM codes
Enter {{merge fields}} as UTM parameters.
Persistent UTM codes
UTM parameters now persist through submission of multi-page forms.
AI content blocks
AI content blocks add AI Text and AI HTML formats to content blocks. A configured prompt, optional knowledge sources, and value-specific content blocks can generate personalized text or HTML wherever content blocks render.

AI campaigns/missions
Deliver Campaigns also get an AI-focused refresh. Here’s how it works:
Create a new campaign with the AI type.
Assign it to an Inbox Group.
Give it a minimum and maximum interval in days.
Assign it to a Slate Credits Account.
Add a mission, a prompt to Slate AI describing the campaign’s goal and desired message content, to which you can add merge fields and knowledge sources.
Create one or more mailing with a
{{content}}merge field in the message body where the AI will place its message. Omit this merge field to keep the message deterministic.Preview messages for test records to see what the AI generates based on your prompt, and test how the AI will respond to potential replies.
Database time zone
The database time zone setting establishes a database-wide time zone for time-sensitive work such as events, communications, exports, and notifications. Setting it reduces ambiguity for users working across regions.
Query export time zone support
Query export time zone support adds per-export control over how date and time values appear in query output. This helps exported timestamps match the database time zone, a partner expectation, or a vendor-required time zone.
📖 Query export time zone support
Custom delivery windows for queries
Define more precise delivery windows for recurring query exports. The setting helps align file delivery with partner pickup times, reporting deadlines, and operational expectations.
📖 Custom delivery windows for queries
Reader form communications
Reader form communications send messages immediately when a Reader-scoped form is submitted in Reader. They are useful for time-sensitive confirmations, next steps, and internal notifications tied directly to review activity.

Event check-in communications
Event check-in communications add an Upon check in trigger to event and scheduler communications. For messages that should be sent when a registrant arrives, like arrival confirmations, day-of-event instructions, or internal notifications.

📖 Event check-in communications
Custom badge sizes & formats
Custom badge sizes and formats expand badge printing beyond the default badge stock. Event teams can choose predefined formats or enter custom dimensions for the label stock, paper size, and printer format that fit the event.

📖 Custom badge sizes & formats
AI chat bot embed customization
AI chat bot embed customization lets each embedded AI chat bot fit the site, audience, and brand where it appears. The same bot can use different embed settings on different websites or pages.

📖 AI chat bot embed customization
AI chat bot conversation history
Slate users now have a centralized place to review recent conversations from web-embedded and SMS-connected AI chat bots. Reviewing history helps teams identify common questions, refine bot instructions, and update knowledge sources.

📖 AI chat bot conversation history
Application tab compression
Slate now groups multiple application tabs into a compact dropdown menu.

Enhanced tooltips
Hover text gets a visual refresh throughout Slate.

Subtabs
Subtabs let you organize record tabs into parent and child relationships. A parent tab can group related system, custom, or portal-based tabs to find related information without a long row of top-level tabs.

📖 Subtabs
System tab permissions
System tab permissions add read- and write-permission control to eligible standard record tabs and subtabs. Users can still see a tab while edit access is limited to users with the selected permission.

Entity permissions
Entity permissions add targeted write control for each entity in your database. Administrators can let users view entity data while limiting who can add or edit specific entity instances.

Entity materials
Attach materials directly to entity records.

Widget tabs
Widget tabs divide long widget modals into tabs built from section breaks on widget-scoped forms. They help organize related fields when creating or editing entity rows and other widget-backed records.

Portal tabs
Render a portal on a person, application, dataset, or other supported record so you can work with portal content in record context without leaving the record page.

📖 Adding Portals to Record Tabs
Searcher widgets in portals
Searcher widgets place Slate data tables inside portal views. When the portal appears on a custom record tab, you can review related data, such as addresses, jobs, giving history, or relationships, from one record experience.

Slate AI query knowledge
Slate AI query knowledge lets administrators make approved query outputs available as Slate AI knowledge sources. Use query knowledge when Slate AI should answer questions from structured, permissioned query data.

Chat bot query knowledge
Chat bot query knowledge extends Slate AI Query Knowledge to AI-enabled chat bots and agents. Bots can consult selected query knowledge sources when conversations require current structured data, such as events, programs, or service options.

Slate AI advanced analysis
Slate AI advanced analysis lets users add files to a Slate AI conversation for summaries, interpretation, and transformation. Uploaded spreadsheets, documents, presentations, screenshots, or query outputs can become reports, insights, or downloadable files.

Slate Co-Captain
Slate Co-Captain lets Slate AI inspect and work through Slate pages in a supervised browser session. After a user authorizes the session, Co-Captain can navigate, click, type, review page content, and return a summary of what it found or changed.

Slate AI maximize
Slate AI Maximize expands Slate AI from the side panel into a larger workspace. The maximized view gives more room for longer prompts, detailed answers, charts, and interactive data exploration.
AI Data Studio
Slate AI Data Studio is a natural-language workspace for exploring data from Slate AI knowledge sources. Ask data questions, review generated visualizations, and refine the output without building a new query for every request.
